BB Cann Inc, doing business as Float On ("we," "us," or "our"), operates the website at floatondispensary.com (the "Site"). We are a Vermont State licensed adult-use retail cannabis dispensary located at 136½ Church Street, Burlington, VT 05401, a Vermont licensed adult-use cannabis retailer.
This policy describes what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, and the rights you have. The Site is intended only for visitors located in Vermont who are 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to operate the Site and respond to your inquiries:
- Information you give us — your name, email address, message contents, and any other information you submit through a contact form, newsletter signup, or direct email.
- Age verification — when you pass our age gate, we record only a session-level flag indicating you confirmed 21+. We do not store your date of birth.
- Automatically collected — IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is collected through standard server logs and any analytics tooling we use.
- Cookies and similar technologies — small data files placed on your device that remember your preferences (such as that you have passed the age gate this session) and help us measure how the Site is used.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
- Verify that visitors are 21 years of age or older;
- Respond to your messages and inquiries;
- Send you marketing communications you have explicitly subscribed to, and only those — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by writing to us;
- Maintain Site security and prevent fraud or abuse; and
- Comply with applicable law, including Vermont Cannabis Control Board rules and lawful requests from regulators or law enforcement.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site (such as our website host, email provider, and analytics provider). They are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.
- Legal and regulatory disclosures — including to the Vermont Cannabis Control Board or other authorities when required by law.
- Business transfers — if BB Cann Inc is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Data security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information, consistent with applicable Vermont and federal data-security law. No security measure is perfect, however, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.
In the event of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, consistent with the legitimate needs of law enforcement and any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the integrity of our systems, and as otherwise required by applicable law.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site and to understand how it is used. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or alert you when one is being set. You may refuse our cookies, but parts of the Site (including the age gate) may not function correctly if you do.
We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals because no industry standard exists for handling them.
Your choices and rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we have about you;
- Correct it if it is inaccurate;
- Delete it, subject to any legal recordkeeping obligation we have;
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Children
The Site is not directed to anyone under 21 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we may have information from someone under 21, please contact us.
Marketing communications
You will receive marketing email from us only if you have given us your email address through a subscription form on the Site or in person. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "unsubscribe."
We do not currently send marketing text messages. If we ever do, we will obtain separate, express opt-in consent first.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. Review the policies of any site you visit.
Out-of-state and international visitors
The Site is intended for visitors located in Vermont and is operated from the United States. We do not target or knowingly market to consumers outside Vermont. If you access the Site from another state or country, you do so on your own initiative, and your information will be processed in the United States subject to U.S. law and the practices described in this policy. We apply the same data-handling practices uniformly regardless of where you are located.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Cannabis can impair concentration and coordination — do not operate a vehicle or machinery under the influence of cannabis. Cannabis is not recommended for use by persons who are pregnant or nursing.
